PV system offsets energy use at Energize, LLC office
A 1.8KW PV system was commisioned in October to offset the
energy use of our office in Winneconne. The system utilizes
"net-metering" to spin the utility meter backwards,
"banking" extra energy generated on sunny days
for use when needed. Financial benefits increase every
time a rate increase comes through!

Prices on the Rise!
With energy prices continuing to rise (our electric rate recently
went up another 10%!), we've been very busy this year
helping our customers turn their wind and solar electric ideas
and dreams into reality.

Solar Decade
We are proud to have been invited to speak at the Wisconsin's
Solar Decade Conference in Waukesha on November 30th.
The conference sold out, and featured hundreds of both commercial
and residential attendees. Information should be posted
on the Solar Decade website soon www.solardecade.com.

Federal
Solar Tax Credit
The federal solar tax credit from the 2005 Energy Bill provides
a tax credit of 30% of the cost of a solar system, capped
at $2,000 for individuals, with no cap for businesses.
Systems must be installed either this or next calendar
year (2008).
